There is not a unique way to discover Chile. The options are several and they will depend on you and what you are looking for if you come to travel through Chile. Chile is a long and narrow country that from the north until the south, has a diversity of climates that become different landscapes.
From the North, starting in the famous Atacama Desert, where you will be able to visit part of the driest desert in the world you will have the chance of discovering places so unique as the Geyser of Tatio, the small town of San Pedro de Atacama and the Altiplanic Lagoons, located in Atacama Salt Flat.
From the north, toward the south different places have transformed in obligatory to be traveled by you. The area of Valparaíso in the Center of Chile, Santiago, their main city and from there toward the south, to discover valleys whose main fruit is the wine, the route of the wine of the Valley of Colchagua, Curicó and Talca to name some.
In the Lake area, you will be able to discover lakes so beautiful as the Villarrica Lake, Todos los Santos Lake and the famous Llanquihue Lake. As you will see, it doesn't exist the best Chile Tours to discover, because all the places that you travel have good reasons to be discovered and journeys.
Maybe one of the good known areas is the Patagonia, for their nature almost to discover and their landscapes of absolute nature and beauty. Until arriving in the Antarctica, where very few people have been able to arrive.
